Tragic Tignes Avalanche has lessons for us all
According to Pistehors, “just a bit off-piste is like being just a bit pregnant” - with particular reference to the December Avalanche that took the life of a young snowboarder in Tignes just before Christmas.
This was a relatively small avalanche, close to nearby pistes, and on the sort of slope many of us might often head for.
