It is a socialhistorically interesting Fact, that the white cross has a Hotel tradition, which goes back demonstrably in the Middle Ages: The white cross is one of the oldest hotels in Lucerne. The name White Cross was already mentioned in records of the year 1495 and since the early 17th century the location of the hotel is secured to the Furrengasse 19.
