It preserves all the colonial architecture of a period in which time passed by at a slower pace. The country estate that 'La Hacienda' erected is the oldest of all of the Canary Islands, dating from 1572. The 'Mayorazgo de Arucas' was established on the same date and these were the first owners until late S.XVIII. At that time, passing into the hands of the 'Marquesado de Arucas', the present owners. In 1997, 'La Marquesa de Arucas' decided to reconvert it to a hotel, maintaining both its architecture and original setting, amongst banana plantations. In 'La Hacienda', you will enjoy luxury, rural accommodation, having all the comforts and services of a highly accredited hotel without depleting from its rural charm.
