Unlike other hotels of its kind, the Pazo do Río is located in a residential area that is only 3 km from the city of La Coruña, offering a wonderful natural environment without losing out on the attractions of the city tourism. As regards the neighbouring villages, the hotel, located in the Oleiros Area, is ideally situated in a very beautiful residential area and it is only 2 km from the big Santa Cristina beach, less than 1 km from La Ría del Burgo which has a beautiful maritime promenade and is an ideal place to practise canoeing, or 7 km from the Sta. Cruz or Mera coasts well known for their innumerable coves and inlets where you can rest in the sunshine or practise scuba diving. The management of the Hotel Monumento Pazo do Rio, informs you that on 30th September 2005, our hotel was certified with the 'Quality Tourism Q' by the Spanish Quality Tourism Agency.
