Located in a historical mill house in Lillehammer is the charming Mølla Hotell, named by Swiss magazine Bolero as one of the world's most unusual hotels. Stay just steps away from Lillehammer's lively main pedestrian street and not far from Maihaugen, Europe's largest open air museum, and Bjerkebekk, the home of writer Sigrid Undset. Skiing and family fun are just 15 km (9 miles) away in the Hafjell Ski Arena and the Hunderfossen Family Park. Many of Mølla Hotell's rooms have been created out of the mill's original corn cribs and now welcome guests complete with flat-screen TVs and complimentary wireless internet. The hotel also delights visitors with fascinating photographs and memorabilia from the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics. The Toppen Bar at Mølla Hotell offers spectacular views over Lillehammer together with the drinks or cocktails of your choice. The bar is open from Monday through Saturday 20:00- 02:00.
