In the lovely small hill village of Trevi - voted as one of Umbria’s 50 most beautiful borgos - is the charming Trevi Hotel. Ettore Bellucci, who runs a well known gastronomy school in nearby Spoleto, and his wife Liviana have recently acquired the hotel a historic residence, which has eleven spacious rooms - standard, superior and deluxe. Every room has a private bathroom, TV, safe and direct dialing with internet connection. A massage and sauna service are available on request. There is a delightful terrace set within the walls where guests can enjoy breakfast or a welcome evening drink and the owners also offer an excellent traditional country cuisine. The hotel, which is on the walls of the town, overlooks the stunning slopes of olive groves (known as ‘La Costa’) famous for producing some of Umbria’s finest olive oil. The owner of Trevi Hotel is himself a professional olive oil taster and sommelier and visits and tastings can be organized on request.
