Built in the early 1500s, the Villa di Piazzano was commissioned by Cardinal Silvio Passerini as a hunting manor. The Villa is situated in a beautiful private park of ancient Italian oak and linden trees and is surrounded by lush green hills where the Cardinal and his entourage hunted pheasants and wild boar. Today the Villa has been transformed into an elegant country residence and special attention has been dedicated to preserving the beauty and authenticity of the original building. The Villa is furnished with antiques belonging to the family and the rooms offer all the modern comforts and facilities.

Built by Cardinal Passerini in 1464, the Villa di Piazzano is classified as a historical estate. Completely restored and opened in 2001, the hotel now features 18 rooms, all elegantly furnished and air conditioned. The pool has is immersed in a spectacular country setting and heated in the summer months to offer a comfortable temperature. The hotel is family run and offers a personalised service of a high standard. Children are most welcome at Villa di Piazzano. They can be catered for during meal times by offering simpler dishes which are not on the menu. The only restriction is a quiet period from 14:00 - 16:00 at the poolside during the siesta hours.
