Gasthof Sonneck is situated in the middle of the Salzburgerland, Austria. It has its own Skiresort Werfenweng which is ideal for families. But we are very close to all the big ski-resorts of the Salzburgerland like Mühlbach am Hochkönig, St. Johann Alpendorf, Waigrain, Flachau, Altenmarkt/Zauchensee and Obertauern. During the summer it is a perfect place to go for a long mountain-walk or just a short walk. There are organised bike-tours and not to forget 15 golfcourses all within 40 minutes drive from here (the two nearest 15 minutes). Gasthof Sonneck has its own outdoor-swimmingpool and a big terrace with the most beautiful view on the Hochkönig. We are ideal for people driving through to Croatia and Italy because we are just away of the highway and here you can have a rest and a good meal. Besides all common sightseeing (like the Ice-caves and the castle Hohe Werfen) you can do duo-paragliding or rafting on the Salzach. We speak three languages Dutch / German / English

Eager to make you feel at home, we will do our best to make you feel comfortable at any time. Relax in our pool, enjoy the warmth of the sun and leave your daily life behind. In the evening we serve fine dinners in our à la carte restaurant, now with solid oak tables. Since late 2006, the hotel now also boasts a lounge area. Including a small bar area, you can now relax with a drink amid sofas, chairs and barstools. An electronic dart board provides the entertainment, complemented by a small library and wide selection of games.
