Zillwald - Description

The holiday home Zillwald (approx. 45 m2) is located on the holiday domain "Zillwald", on the edge of the municipality of Lax, in Oberwallis. The chalet exudes a cosy atmosphere with its many wooden details. You have for example a heated garage, which means you don't have to clean the snow off your car in winter. Of course you can also put your ski outfit to dry here. The centre of the village with shops, restaurants, a post office, bank and station is a 10-minute walk away.

In winter Lax is the ideal base for the active winter sports fan. In the shortest time (15 min. by car or train) you will reach the Riederalp, Bettmeralp and Fiesheralp ski areas - which belong to the world heritage site of the Aletsch area - by ski lift. You will find pistes for beginners and experienced skiers here. Besides skiing, the region is of course also ideal for sleighing or winter walks through the snowy woods.

From Lax, you can make great walks in summer, or mountain tours with a guide. In Fiesch (2km) you will find an indoor swimming pool, squash courts, tennis courts and a school for delta flying. Brig, or the "heart of Oberwallis" as it is often called, is a 15-minute drive away from Lax.

In short, Lax offers many opportunities for a lovely holiday both in summer and winter!
