Museum - Description
Grächen lies 24 km. South-west of Visp. From Grächen you can, besides many walking trips, visit nice places. Think of Zermatt with the Matterhorn and the sophisticated Saas Fee where you can also ski in the summertime. Grächens is a popular, partially car free, holiday village, it is the village with the most sun hours in Switzerland. Chalet Museum is situated at only 0,2 km. from the village core of Grächen. The chalet consists of 2 accommodations. Beneath the other property of the chalet lies a museum which is opened for approx. 2 hours per week. The spacious house (90 m²) is situated on the 1st floor and is of a good standard furnished. You have access to a small balcony. You may also use the communal garden (200 m²) in where there are also playing devices ready for the children.
