The town of Thun is on the shores of wonderful Lake Thun. This large lake is connected to the equally attractive Lake Brienz. The famous town of Interlaken lies between the lakes. Thun is in the middle of the Bernese Oberland. It is ideal for planning excursions to the Jungfraujoch, the Aletsch Glacier and Interlaken. You can also visit Bern, the capital of Switzerland, which is only thirty minutes away.
