Tarragona - Description

'Tarragona' is a luxurious penthouse (170 m²), in a fabulous location directly on the boulevard of the Burriana beach in the picturesque Nerja on the Costa del Sol. It is situated on the 2nd floor (lift present), and stands out by its width of 18m.; on the front there is a large terrace (more than 50 m²) where you can soak up the sun all day, with view on the sea and the boulevard.

Burriana Beach is the most famous beach of Nerja, spacious and well kept, with sun beds and parasols for rent all year long. In the morning you can see the fishing boats come back into harbour with freshly caught fish for the restaurants on the beach, where you will also find a few shops. On the boulevard there are a supermarket, various shops, terraces, ice cream parlours and restaurants open all year - and a professional diving school. The centre of Nerja is 10 minutes walk away, and a larger supermarket at 2 minutes. Nerja is a pleasant, truly Spanish place with narrow streets, and still reflects the atmosphere of the past. You will be in real Andalusia here, with only low buildings, olive tree orchards, tapes and flamenco. It is a small scale beach resort in one of the hottest places in Europe, built on a cliff and dotted with coves. In the heart of Nerja you will find the famous 'Balcony de Europe', a gorgeous promenade with a fabulous view on the sea and the many small coves. In Nerja there is a wide range of restaurants, cafés, a bar-street and various other opportunities for going out. Just outside the city there is Nerja's famous stalactite cave, which is evaluated to 20 000 years old and considered as one of the most beautiful in the world. Granada with the famous 14th century Alhambra palace is approximately 100 kilometres away. The Sierra Nevada, at approximately 90 minutes by car, is a true ski eldorado in winter, with amenities for there from half November to often beginners and breathtaking descents for the experienced. You can get in May for skiing. In short: in Nerja there is something for everyone!
