La Alcaicería - Description
La Alcaiceria is an attractive city apartment. It is suitable for 2 people. The apartment is in an excellent position in the culturally rich city of Granada. It is in the Alcaiceria district. The area has a strong Moorish atmosphere and wonderful Arabic decorations in its many narrow streets and shops. The apartment is on the fifth floor of a restored building with a lift. The historic Alhambra Palace is a 10 minute walk away. The Generalife, the Moorish Queens summer palace, is also very near. You can enjoy panoramic views of the area from the balcony. La Alcaiceria is near the Moorish area of Albaycin.
Albaycin District is famous for its tapas bars, restaurants, tea-rooms and shops. You can enjoy romantic walks through the highly atmospheric streets. You can visit many important places of interest from the apartment, such as the Alhambra and the Generalife. You can enjoy the Spanish Flamenco at the Sacromonte. The apartment is conveniently located for the old city centre and the Plaza Nueva with its typical Spanish restaurants and pavement cafes.
The apartment is equipped with all modern conveniences and is easily accessible by public transport and by car. The Sierra Nevada is a 30 minute drive, the coast is around an hours drive. These and the many picturesque villages in the area are all well worth a visit.
