Casa del Guarda - Description

A small rural tourist complex in a farm at the foot of the Sierra Nevada and next to banks of the Alpujarra river with views over the Sierra Nevada national park. The apartments are a part of a 40ha country estate with a cultivation of biological almonds, grapes, figs, and various sorts of fruits. The estate has a communal swimming pool to use freely in summer and a fire place in winter. You?ll be able to enjoy the panoramic views on the Alpujarra and the Sierra Nevada from the swimming pool. On the premises you?ll find a library and a wine cellar but there?s also a traditional Apujarreño restaurant which serves traditional and authentic dishes. The farm also has its own vineyard and olive trees. And one of the favourite spots for the kids is ?the shed?; here you?ll find chickens, pigeons, turkeys, rabbits and other small farm animals. The neighbourhood is the ideal place to go for walks along the hiking trails (guided or solo) but also cycling (mountain biking) and riding are possible in this area. The farm?s location offers a lot of connections to various interesting places. The southern part of the Sierra Nevada?s national park can be seen from the farm. Villages in the vicinity such as Lobras, Tímar, Nieles, Cádiar (2km), Narila, Alcútar, Juviles and Bérchules are worth a visit. The area mainly consists of agricultural farms and houses.

You will be staying in an apartment (47m2) in a tranquil setting with a private terrace and direct access to the almond trees. The comfortably furnished, renovated apartment is equipped with modern comforts such as: a telephone, heating, television, bathroom and beautiful views on the west side of the Sierra Nevada.
