Casa Dany - Description

This holiday house lies on 800 metres altitude at the edge of the mountain village Rasura which is a small, cosy little village. From this destination you can organize delightful day trips to the Como lake at only 15 minutes drive or nicely go out in the nature which is overwhelming in this region. Many hiking trips can be made in the surrounding mountains and take you along the many mountain lakes which are found in the landscape. Also the lovers of mountain biking can enjoy to one’s heart content here. There are tracks along the river Adda in the valley for the beginners, which lead up to the Como lake and the area of Rasura is a true paradise for the more experienced. One organizes something every weekend during the summer in this village, such as outdoor ballroom dancing of demonstrations of the delights from the area. Ideal for sportsmanlike people who seek rest, but don’t want to live isolated. The house is built against a mountain, as a result of which you reach the ground floor through a stairs on the front as well as enter the first floor with a wheel chair at the back, to a bedroom which is connected with the ground floor via an open lift. The neatly restored house used to consist of the houses. Because of this, the bedrooms are not on the same level but gradually. The interior is rustic and the amount of wood work contributes to a cosy atmosphere. You have access to a large, partially covered terrace with garden furniture on the ground floor, a small balcony on the first floor and on the rooftop terrace you can sunbath in all privacy.
