Fontana - Description
A charming little Italian dwelling in the Chiavenna valley (Sondrio Province in Lombardy). This little town of Chiavenna will delight you with its charm and typical character. Situated approximately 20 km from the winter sports resort of Madesimo, and 25 km from Lake Como, Chiavenna enjoys an ideal location for all sorts of activities in summer as well as winter.
The Italian winter sports resort of Madesimo is one of the smallest in Italy and offers 48 km of ski runs. It is situated over 1500 metres above sea level. Madesimo is perfect for beginners, but also for skiers with more average skills.
You will be able to enjoy yourself in summer as well with all the organized activities (walks, squash, moto cross, swimming pool, golf, tennis, free climbing, horse riding, etc.). But there are all the activities available surrounding Lake Como as well.
Your apartment (150 m2 approx.) is on the 2nd floor of an old 16th century palace! It is ideally situated in the historic centre of the town, in the pedestrian area, and has its own small garden. You will find the period panelling, the fireplace and simple, rustic style of this apartment charming.
