Margeritha - Description

Casa Luciana is 35 km north of Menaggio. It’s in a quiet villa area 100m from Lake Mezzola, a branch of Lake Como and part of Pian di Spagna nature reserve. When you take the owner’s motor boat you will enjoy seeing many water birds and lovely water cascades. The Lido has a children’s swimming pool, a bar and restaurant and is only 1 km away. You can swim in the lake there and hire parasols. You can also opt for the more lively Lake Como, just 10 minutes away. The surrounding mountains and nature reserve are a delight for walkers and cyclists. Casa Luciana is a sunny villa spread over two floors. The owner lives on the first floor and Belvilla has the two apartments on the ground floor. The holiday homes are simply but functionally furnished. Each apartment has a terrace. Margherita (IT-23025-01) is south east facing and Genziana (IT-23025-02) is north west facing. Both apartments are directly linked to the enclosed communal garden. While the children can play safely in this area, you can enjoy the peaceful view of the Alps. Feel free to pick the fruit from the trees. There are cherries, apricots and other Italian fruits. The abundant vegetable garden produces rosemary, sage, basil, tomatoes and lettuce. With all this and the bottle of wine that you will receive on your arrival, you can really enjoy the taste of Italy.

Some ski runs are open from November until April. They are 30 km away. Those ski runs that are open all year round are 45 km away. Although this area has not been fully discovered by tourists, it offers a variety of restaurants at walking distance. One of the restaurants specialises in local fresh-water fish as well as sea-fish. Parking is available in the enclosed garden or in the garage.
