On the courtyard, you can enjoy one of the various lovely sitting corners in the sun or shadow, but for relaxation, of course there are the well developed wellness and spa facilities for which Tabarz is famous. In addition, this house is located directly under the highest point of the province of Thüringen, namely the 916 metres high Insels Mountain. Of course, this calls for a walk to the top to enjoy the view over the surrounding woods and mountains. This is definitely a great place for hiking, but during winter, it is also possible to strap on your skis and enjoy the different ski slopes and fun, varied cross-country skiing tracks. In short: there is something to do during every season in this pearl of Thüringen.
