The Mause holiday apartment (around 35 m2) is centrally located in the town of Medebach-Dreislar in the Sauerland, but only 20 km from the Winterberg holiday resort and around 25 km from Willingen. The holiday apartment is located in the same house as where the house owner lives, but has its own entrance.

Dreislar is a quiet town of around 400 residents, around which there are well-marked hiking routes such as the Rothaarsteig. In Medebach and the area there are many options for recreation, such as the Freelife Park (Center Parcs) with a large subtropical swimming paradise and bowling, the open-air theatre of Hallenberg, the amusement park Fort Fun and the Panorama Park, the Winterberg Mountainbike Arena, Nordic Walking and of course there are many opportunities for winter sport in Winterberg and Willingen. In the summer you can relax and enjoy yourself on the water at the Edersee or the Diemelsee (around 30 km away).
