Alte Bauernhof - Description
north-east of Winterberg situated Ober-Waroldern lies this wonderful half timbered farm house from 1878. The Dutch owner has been busy since 2006 with transforming this authentic piece of Germany into a marvelous group destination in where eight bedrooms offer accommodation to 30 persons. You can rent the entire house, which you will occupy all by yourself, for a maximum of 30 pers. homes (DE-34477-03 and DE-34477-04) situated on the first floor for the individual family. The location is ideally suited for a holiday with friends or the whole family considering that not only the house itself, but also the environment offer many options. There is a playground next to the house for the little children and given the fact that the village hardly has any passing through traffic, they can nicely amuse themselves outside. Besides that, you are at the right spot for making excursions in the Waldeckerland. Castles, fortresses, museums, lakes, forests and meadows, everything is actually present here. Recommendations are a visit to the Diemel- or Edersee, a nice day of shopping in Korbach (8 km.) or enjoy the nature around Winterberg (30 minutes by car). The landlord will make sure you will not have any inconvenience from this during your stay.
