Hinter Der Linde - Description

In the basement is a recreation room with a ping pong table, a washing machine, a separate shower and space for storing your bicycles. The baker, the butcher, the supermarket and a few restaurants are within walking distance of this home (100 to 500 metres).

Frankenau is known for its location in the middle of a beautiful nature area, on the edge of the famed Sauerland. You’ll be near the Kellerwald national park, where you can go on great hiking trips through the hilly landscape. You can also visit the park on a guided tour with a forester, who will be able to tell you everything about the history of the park. The Edersee, the largest reservoir in Germany, is also close by. Here you can go diving, swimming, sailing, surfing, water skiing, canoeing, boating and fishing. This region is also interesting in terms of culture, with cities such as Bad Arolsen, Frankenberg, Waldeck and Bad Wildungen. In the winter you can go skiing or cross-country skiing in nearby Winterberg or Willingen (ca 40-45 km away).
