The community of Raich lies in the southern part of the Black Forest en consists of several small townships of which Ried is one. These towns lie between 600 and 1200 meters above sealevel between the valleys of Kleinen and Köhlgartenwiese. We find Ried just northeast of Raich en it primarely consists of characteristic local farmhouses. From an altitude of 700 meters you can enjoy the stunning views toward the Swiss Alps and walk one of the beautiful walking routes in the area.
