An der Zugspitze - Description

The town of Grainau nestles in a wonderful mountain setting. The Zugspitze, which at 2964 metres is Germanys tallest mountain, is nearby. You can visit this splendid mountain in summer and winter. You can relax in the natural wellness oasis and swim in clear mountain lakes. There are magnificent walks and cycle routes through the beautiful mountain landscape. You'll find a wealth of outdoor activities waiting for you in summer. The region is famous for its winter sports. The owner runs a guest house on the same property with wonderful views of the mountains. There is a small garage beside the holiday house. You can enjoy walks to the Höllentalklamm, the Neueralm and the Eibsee. You can also visit the Geigenbaum Museum in Mittenwald, the historic Linderhof and Neuschwanstein Castles and the Ettal Monastery.
