Sonnenblume - Description

The cosy and comfortably furnished holiday apartment "Sonnenblume" (approx. 80 m²) is on the 1st floor of the “Florida Annexe” apartment building. The building is an absolutely beautiful location, right in the middle of the village of Bayerisch Gmain in the Berchtesgadener Land and is surrounded by beautiful alpine scenery. The holiday apartment has a large south-facing balcony with an unrestricted view of the mountains.

The hotel annexe is a stone’s throw from the Hotel Florida. It offers a range of facilities: an indoor swimming pool (8 x 4 m) with massage jets, a torrent and a counter current, a light sauna, a modern ergoline solarium, a fitness room, a physiotherapy practice and a beauty parlour. The Hotel also provides a sandwich and breakfast service.

Bayerisch Gmain lies directly in the holiday triangle Berchtesgaden (15 km), Salzburg (15 km) and Bad Reichenhall (3 km). Mozart’s town Salzburg, the salt mines, Königsee and the thermal springs in Berchtesgaden, Rupertus thermal springs and the crystal clear mountain lake Thumsee in Bad Reichenhall are among the main attractions in the vicinity.

But Bayerisch Gmain and the surrounding area are also ideal in winter! The Austrian skiing areas are only half an hour away by car and the regional skiing areas Jenner, Götschen and Rossfeld only 20 minutes by car. There is a cross-country trail right in front of the hotel and a toboggan run in the village.
