L'Ecrin des neiges - Description
Much more than just a skiing resort, for visitors Vars opens the doors to a lively resort and beautiful countryside. The Forêt Blanche skiing area (180 km of runs), half-way between Queyras and Ubaye, can be enjoyed in winter and in summer! You will appreciate the skiing, the excursions by dog sled or on snowshoes, outings on snowmobiles, paragliding, visits to the Escreins valley, etc.
In the resort itself, a variety of facilities will enable you to take part in many activities: skating rink, cinema, swimming pool in summer, tennis, mini golf, and many other things.
Newly built, the residence has a unique charm illustrated by its wood and stone façade.
It is situated only 150 m from the ski school and the Sibières ski lift and shops. However, the level of comfort is as described.
