Built in 1955, the Hotel le Kandahar stays faithful to the typical Haute Tarentaise style with wood and stone. In the heart of the village and just a few steps from the slopes on the Bellevarde and Solaise peaks, it is ideally situated for enjoying the full Val d'Isère experience. Refined, but simple, with a comfortable mountain-style, le Kandahar promises a relaxing, re-energising break. Perfectly located within the resort, it also offers festive moments of gourmet dining in its Taverne d'Alsace, as well as relaxing evenings at the bar, in the sauna or the steam-room. This 3-star hotel is open only in winter and offers 41 rooms and charming suites, half of which are designed for families : kids' corner with bunk beds, large bedroom for parents. On request at reception, massages and baby-sitters can be booked. Individual ski-lockers and shoe-dryers available. At your disposal: an indoor paying car-park and Wifi in the hotel bar.
