Wonderful views, fabulous location for outdoor activities Position: Grand Roc, where the chalet is situated, is a development of  privately owned and well spaced-out holiday chalets, sharing a large heated swimming pool in July and August only (20mx10m 01/07-31/08), about a mile from the village of Thollon, where there are shops, restaurants, tennis courts, riding and bicycle hire. The attractive spa town of Evian, on Lake Geneva is about a 20 minute drive. Here there is a wonderful outdoor Olympic sized swimming pool with a long slide and childrens pool. Geneva, Chamonix/Mont Blanc are easily accessible for a day trip. The chalet is in wooded surroundings with an area of grounds to the back, where you can sit outside, with garden furniture and barbecue. To the front is a big first floor balcony with wonderful views of the mountains and to Lake Geneva far below.

Chalet Grand Roc - Description

From the entrance of this unusual building, steps lead to the large and cosy living room with TV. There are banquettes around the open fireplace, table and chairs and a breakfast bar overlooking the lake and doors to the balcony. Up from this is the small double bedroom with sunken bath, basin and wc. Down from the living room is the galley style kitchen with ceramic hob, small electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, electric kettle, Raclette set, cafetière, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. On this level is a small shower room and separate wc. Downstairs on ground floor level are two bedrooms, each with a double bed, a single bed and a platform bed. Cot and highchair available. Electricity payable locally.
