Welcome to Alpe D’Huez. This ski resort, enjoying exceptional sunshine throughout the year, has long been known as the ‘Ile au Soleil’ (sun island)! The Horizon residence is ideally situated in the district of Jeux, facing the Bergers ski slopes. The accommodations are comfortable, well equipped and regularly looked after. Some details of the description may differ, especially concerning surface, fittings, exposure and whether there is a balcony or ski locker. As a general rule the lounges have a sofabed for 1 or 2 persons, the sleeping cabins or alcoves have 1 or 2 bedspaces mostly on bunk beds and the bedrooms offer 1 or several single or double beds. Photos are not binding and the fittings and decorations of the apartments may vary. Situated on the southern slope of the Grandes Rousses massif, Alpe Huez offers a vaste ski domain adapted to all levels. For those who don’t ski, there is a wide range of activities on offer such as: dog sledging, snow shoe tours, fitness, paragliding, ice skating, workshops… Adults and children alike will be delighted.
