La Pêche - Description
An extremely beautiful semi-detached chalet (approx. 50 m2) in a former farmhouse that has been completely restored, in a quiet country hamlet. Your chalet is authentic and typical of the region. It is simply equipped but has all the conveniences you need. This former farmhouse is about 1.5 km from the centre of Abondance, with all its shops and restaurants. The nearest ski lifts giving access to the large Portes du Soleil skiing area are about 5 km away in La Chapelle d'Abondance. A free shuttle (about 1.5 km away) can take you there in winter.
The village of Abondance is about 1,000 metres above sea level, at the entrance to the Franco-Swiss Portes du Soleil skiing area and not far from lake Geneva, the town of Annecy famous for its flowers and the spa town of Evian les Bains. You can also escape to Switzerland and visit the town of Montreux, famous for its Jazz festival in July.
