This holiday house lies in Abondance, 27 km. south-east of Evian-les-Bains and at the edge of the ski resort of Portes du Soleil. This area consists of 650 kilometres ski runs and 209 lifts and stretches itself out up to the border area of Switzerland. The holiday house Chalet La Chamilly lies 2,5 km. from the centre of Abondance. This detached chalet is peacefully situated at the edge of a forest against a mountain slope. In front of the house runs a brook in where eventually can be fished. The natural environment is surrounded by all peace and nature has free play. The area around Abondance, Domaine de l’Essert, is a small ski resort of 26 km. in where there are 8 lifts, a ski school and restaurant with a large terrace but you can also take the bus to La Chapelle d’Abondance or Châtel to ski in Les Portes du Soleil, an area with 209 lifts and 650 kilometres of ski runs, ideal for tour trips. The area has a beautiful nature and cosy restaurants for a relaxed break. In Avoriaz there is a snow park for the beginning and the more advanced snow boarders. A ski pass will give access to two area’s: Super Chatel and Linga. Between these there goes a commute bus. Besides skiing and cross country skiing there are also other things to do in the winter time. In order to that, you can walk, visit nearby situated villages or go up the toboggan run in Chatel.
