Haus am Himmel - Description

Haus am Himmel is located at ca. 1350m altitude in the small idyllic village Hirschegg, in the Steiermark region. The detached holiday home (ca. 120 m2) is comfortable and only 100m away from the ski slopes. From the holiday home it is only approx. 45 minutes by car to the fabulous cultural capital of the province, Graz. The region is renowned for its gastronomy and "Buschenschank", an assortment of local appetisers.

Hirschegg has its own ski paradise with 5 km pistes (4 km blue and 1 km red pistes) and there is also a ski school for young and old. Other ski areas nearby are Salzstiegel (12 km pistes), Hebalm (11 km) and Gabel (12 km).

In summer, the region of Hirschegg also offers many possibilities like rafting, horse riding, swimming, walking, mountain climbing, summer toboggan and hut trips. The Maria Lankowitz golf course is also one of Austria's most beautiful golf courses. The Packerstau See is an impressive, large mountain lake where you can go fishing and relaxing amidst nature.
