Sommer im Mayrhof - Description

An unusual and romantic setting for a holiday in the mountains. The appartment is on the first floor of the former 'Mayrhof' where the castle staff and animals once lived and worked. Castle Moosham itself is literally opposite the Mayrhof, and all out guests get a free guided tour

The furnishings are in keeping with the historic atmosphere of the building, with all furnishings in old wood. 2 seperate bedrooms make this quite a large accomodation for 4 people.

The Lungau is one of the most traditional of all the Austrian valleys, and the Prankstangen and Samson parades are still held with pride. Mauterndorf also hosts a medieval festival in high season
