Schindlhütte - Description

'Schindlhütte' is a wood chalet (170 m²), newly built in 2000. The chalet is in a quiet area on the edge of the forest, against a sunny mountainside and with a breathtaking view of the town of Großarl. The ski lifts you will find in ca. 2.2km. The Großarl town centre is only 1,5 km away. A Gasthaus known for its excellent food is just a few minutes away for whenever you need a good meal. The local baker will gladly bring you fresh sandwiches in the morning any day you would like them.

The ski area of Großarltal-Dorfgastein belongs to the massive ski region of 'Ski Amadé', with a total of 270 ski lifts and 860 km of different runs. Both beginners and advanced skiers will find enough space here for what they love to do. The Großarltal-Dorfgastein ski area has 8 km of blue runs, 23 km of red runs and 49 km of black runs. Ski sheds are at your disposal at the valley station. You can keep your skis and snowboards here in the nighttime for a small fee.

The Großarltal is known for its many mountain huts (Alpine chalets) and 37 different trails spread about the area, with a total length of 220 km. A favourite souvenir here is thus the handmade prize in the form of a badge for the number of kilometres travelled. The ski lifts are also operational in summer, with which you’ll be able to reach different heights to start your hike. In addition to hiking, the Großarltal has much more to offer in the summer. You can go swimming, go bicycling, play tennis, fish and make coach trips.

In short, there are more than enough reasons for spending your holiday in the Schindlhütte, both in the summer and winter!
