Haus Hohe Tauern - Description

The detached house “Hohe Tauern“ is situated at the base of the Großglockner and is very child friendly. In this house you will find an apartment with a surface of 40 m² on garden level. The apartment benefits from a modern and comfortable interior.

The winter fun starts directly in front of the house. From here, a free ski coach leaves several times a day to the beautiful ski domain Europa Sportregion. The house is situated in the beautiful “Fuschertal” and is built in Pinzgauer style. Children can have fun here in the enchanting snow landscape. Ski and langlauf are some of the many possibilities that belong to an ideal winter holiday here.

The house is situated 798 m above sea level in the nature park 'Hohe Tauern'. In summer this national park is at its best. There are many activities in the area. There is a tennis court where you can play a few sets and a swimming pool for a refreshing dive. The “Zell am See” lake is only 10 km away from the holiday home. This lake is ideal for a family excursion. Many watersports can be enjoyed here. There are also various cycling and mountain biking routes here. A walk in the magnificent nature is a good way to discover the beautiful surroundings.

The fascinating “Großglockner“ mountain is the main attraction of the region. It is the second most popular tourist attraction in Austria. At 3,798 m it not only is the highest mountain in Austria, but also belongs to the highest tops of the Alps. The Grossglockner-Hochalpenstrasse incites to walk and enjoy breathtaking views on mountains and valleys. You can also participate in various guided walks. You will encounter a wide array of fauna and flora in a short time here.
