Picked up a base layer Icebreaker for GBP10, 3 pairs of Icebreaker ski socks for GBP10. They had Schoffel jackets down from GBP450 to GBP125. And I nearly bought a Mountain Hardwear jacket down from GBP180 to GBP50 but decided against it as it was just a bit too thin.

Some real bargains there.

This is an amazing deal you found, Tony. And for jacket too. Thin jackets are actually better for skiing as they are lighter. You can always add/remove a layer acccording to the weather, but there is not much you can do once you have an insulated ski jacket.

No I know, I always use just an outer later for a jacket, but this one just seemed a bit too thin. I've been tempted to go back and get it though as it was really stylish.
