How could you even THINK of ski-ing down something like that? It makes me quite sick just LOOKING at it :shock:

It is an enjoyable run, (well, afterwards anyway!), not least because, due to the local verticals, it has a really steep feeling.
What does provide the scare factor for me, on this degree of slope isn't the fear of falling, but the risk of avalanche.

Everytime I have been at the top of that I have stopped myself, due to the fact the lift up to it rides directly overhead and fully exposes the steepness, the patches of rock and ice as well as the odd person using their face as a brake over a long distance. It is one of my goals for this season.
