I got some new ones today, Elan Mag 6 or something, Shorter and Fatter, equally stiff, will soon see if they are any better, I guess its like having one car for some years, you just get used to it, when you change it the new one feels wrong, until you get used to that one. I bought an Audi TT as well today.

Innsbruck Austria is MUCH better value than France, Innsbruck is a proper city, with Skiing accesible from the centre via a funicular and 2 cable cars.

:shock:Just booked an awseome deal to Plagne Soleil, £ 150 for a week 4* SC in January. I know the area as we have been to Belle Plagne last year, But I am suddenly worried tha there is a special reason it could be so cheap ??
There is 10 of us going so we can keep ourselves entertained. Anyone any stories about Plagne soleil ? |

Well I'm just fishing out all the various clothing I've acquired over the years. . . Plan is to wear 1 x thermal long johns, + 1 x fleece trousers under salopettes. Merino Wool socks Thermal Vest, Merino Wool baselayer, Light fleece, Helly Hansen Quilted jacket, Fleece tube scarf thing, Double insulated Hat, Face mask and goggles Gloves I have a pair of Snowlife gloves with seperate inners, and a pair of silk gloves to wear under these. It's gonna be interesting ! :D |

We are off to Austria tomorrow, and I just checked the weather forecast, which gave temperatures as low as minus 30 C !!! is this correct ? is anyone there now that can comment ? I'm putting some extra thermals in my bag ! |
