on piste i ski the scott rc for gs carving-dont go in the park at all, can 50-50 a rail switch and spin 180-thats it!
i have a pair of scratch BCs right now and they are a bit long in the tooth-bit soft too. i have started exploring off piste-mainly off the side of the piste, moguls and powder. feb was in kitzbuhel and loved the tree skiing! ability-wise i have done my instructor course but am certainly not straight lining double blacks! carved the hannenkam no bother but was a killer on the legs! am 194cms and weight about 110kg so want the 187cm pair but can only find the 181 cheap unfortunately |
cheers
wondering if they work at all in the park looking more for medium deep powder tree ski kinda thing, just started dabbling the last 2 trips and my current sink big time! |
thinking about purchasing a pair on the cheap what are they like? any thoughts?
(sorry if its been discussed before) |
superb video, no way ill ever have anything that quality!
will try and get nearer the quailty of off piste instead... |
but you wouldnt want to be clashing with snow now would you....
(hard to clash with white no?) |
and the prize for more random thread goes to....

I went to Kitzbuhel in Feb with my school-the kids loved it-the learner area is completely seperate from the rest of the ski area so it is much more quiet which was great for them to learn on. Some tougher piste also, including of course the hannenkam!
We stayed in a place called the Hotel Kaiser which of course is more specifically for school groups-if youre not looking for 5 star accom then it was amazing, really friendly and has had a total makeover since any photos on any websites-looks like a prison from them!! Def def def go, its brilliant! |
