As with all insurance you only find out how good the cover is and how effective the company is when things go wrong. I agree you get what you pay for but at from a different perspective you can be paying for cover that you may never need, also the cheaper quotes that I have seen have very high excesses, so if things do go wrong there is still big money to spend potentially.
Its too late when things go wrong and you don't have the cover or the company not prepared to treat as if you where there only customer in your time of need. Insurance = headache :-( |

Cannot understand anyone not having insurance for holidays.
ANY holiday but a skiing holiday is just mental not to have insurance. My issue is buying insurance that is a good value and will tick all the boxes. Can anyone recommend a good deal or a broker. |

Lots of the travel companies now do package deals, compare this with resort price for lift pass, their might be discounts at some point. Andorra is tax free so might be an opportunity for a good deal in kit so that might be a consideration, what's the point of paying for renting for a week pre paid when you impulse buy on the first day. Make sure as always the kit is right for you not what the ship wants to get rid of :-) |

Depends on the time of transfer and also duration sometimes been to welcome meeting and nothing new from the coach. Other times it feels like you only there to be forced into extra trips or activities.

Tell the truth at all costs, a little white lie on the coach to the resort destroys all trust, if its a twenty minute walk to the hire shop say that. not sugar coating it.

I have got a pair of bolle photochromic goggles bought last season, really good apart from brightest sunshine, you do not notice the colour change I think the reaction is slower in plastic than in glass but no issues of the lens bring inappropriate to conditions, no fogging and the peripheral vision very good. The coating is on the surface of the lens so need to be careful how you handle them and how you're carrying them when not wearing them. If your husband has lightreactive glasses under the goggles you the full spectrum of filters needed from bright sunshine to white out
