We are hoping to book a holiday for first week of April and do not want to go to France as we are taking kids boyfriends and girlfriends so need somewhere cheaper? Does anyone have a recommendation of a place that is likely to have good snow at least until April 7th and where we should be able to get a chalet/apartment and flights closeby. We are thinking of flying to a closeby airport and then driving to resort. Any suggestions/ideas greatly appreciated! Thanks all, Julie

Coming to Les Arcs in April....first week...is it better/cheaper to wait and buy K2 misdemeanour skis there or better to buy them in UK before we leave?
