Followed the live stream of the main event - some great freeride skiing but mighty relieved to see Ludo Lovey escape with just a dislocated shoulder after his heart-stopping tumble 400 metres down two rock faces!
Some resorts have a general town notice board outside the mayor's office where longer term rentals, job positions, small ads etc. are posted, or maybe even the local supermarkets? I'm sure that Morzine have if you were to contact them directly, you may be able to get them to post a notice for you detailing what you are looking for?
Can't imagine that the decision to delay the main event was to allow the snowpack to stabilize if they were prepared to let the junior event go ahead on this day? Although admittedly they won't be skiing the same lines as the pros.
Probably more likely that the decision was made because the weather conditions and visibility is looking better for the Sunday? Great news that it is going ahead anyway and that they are streaming the event live on their site!
It's really good to see the organisers of this event being responsible enough to make what must have been a very difficult decision for them and not bowing to the financial and commercial pressures but ultimately putting the riders safety first. Well done Ride Freesport and Televerbier!
