Also with snowboarding you can walk around properly not having to worry about falling over, or sliding all over the place. Learn to do both ski and board. powder days get the board out, non powder days get the ski's out

ive been going to austria for the last 5 years, will be 6 in feb. i love the place, foods great, beers great. and the prices are pretty good compared to lots of other places

hello everyone, i was just wondering if anyone lives in either of these places! The reason why i ask is because i would like to go for a holiday longer than a week and was wondering if anyone would take a lodger? doing a week or two a season just isnt long enough, and the travel agents cost an arm and a leg to do anything longer then a week. just got back from skiwelt, epic week! next sleep too ski time could be anytime from now to end of season :)But saying that ive been snowboarding the southdowns last 2days, so dont know if i can count that :)

Ive just got back from austria, and ive been snowboarding the southdowns over the last 2days, i live in brighton area and where ive been, there has been around 6 inches :) proper good treat too come back to snow after a epic week in skiwelt

I saw a women making yellow snow once! I went passed thinking "Did i really just see what i saw" :/

It's weird that ALL slopes look so gentle on video and photos. I watched a vid last night of the Harikari in Austria, which is supposed to be Europes steepest black. It looked like a blue!

Ever noticed this?

Nice video, also i have seen this run in austria on video, and it really doe's look like a blue! Pictures and videos dont seem to pick up on steepness :/
