Sauze every time!! I'm going Wednesday 2nd for 4 nights easy flight to Turin no hassle getting to sauze roads clearer of traffic than anywhere else our car hire is £90 for 5 days cheaper than transfers! It's only an hour to resort! Hotels are cheaper than France you can pick up good deal and you have enough skiing for 4 days and go over to sestriere which is bigger but if you are beginners would suggest sauze ok! Great bars restaurants and they have happy hours with free bar food après ski it's fantastic book it !!!

3 valleys is fantastic and Val Thorens resort the best use the Moutiere lift then onto the Funitel Grand Fond then there are great red runs called variante Medaille and Falaise and also blues, we never made it to Cime Caron as was so packed couldn't get on the cable car but was french half term ! Also find La Folie douce Restaurant at top of Plein Sud

If you like to party that is from 4pm daily!!!!
Ive been to Mont Tremblant twice, first time was when I learnt to ski, it was the best decision to learn there we never had more than 4 to a group and I went from knowing nothing to skiing red runs in 5 days!!!! They are fantastic instructors and very patient and almost one to one skiing for the price of a group!!!
We stayed at the Fairmont first time then Country Suites self catering second time! Both were brilliant and the country suites also had a managers specials afternoons thrown in which was free food pizza, bread pate cheese and free beer and wine!! Amazing!
The Village restaurants are fabulous! The skiing area is just one big mountain so it really depends on your skiing ability nothing like europe at all but plenty to ski for the week and some black runs are challenging (did second time) plenty of variety greens blues and reds Moguls and also The Edge which is tree lined runs great!!!
I agree the time difference being 5 hours is difficult to adjust to for just 1 week would not advise with small kids! First time we went on our own as a couple (my 40th) second time with young kids and they were up at 4am!!!!! Time difference is do able though! Only 6hr .50 mins flight and 1 and half hour transfers to resort! Be aware its extremely cold first time round minus 30 degrees and be prepared to wear balaclava's no part of your skin can be exposed in these conditions but it does vary, last time wasn't that cold!!!!
Hope this helps a little!!!
