You're anti gopro because they make someone else look a plonker?
Looking like a plonker is a small price to pay for getting some decent hands free holiday video footage.

It does look a bit odd to have a camera sat on top of your bonce....but what the hey..

Whilst in Val d'Isere I was highly amused to receive a subtle "gopro nod" from a skier who passed by me whilst I was having a breather. I returned the nod. Bit like two VW camper vans meeting up in Cornwall!

I also saw one plonker with one straped to his chest ... you can imagine the shots he would have got .... just imagine trying to get to your wallet

Before i left for Flaine i stuck two go pro mounts to my skis for different vantage points.
Both were rock solid....both have vanished.
I guess the extreme cold has affected the glue and let them go free.
Shame that as i was looking forward to trying them out.
