I'm off skiing early this march in Sainte Foy hopefully for plenty of good off piste. I havent been skiing for almost 6 years and im baffled at which ski's to get.
I used to ride pocket rockets for off piste and i loved them. Im looking for something similar.
Im going to be hiring from ski republic and the choices seem to be Dynastar Contact 9, Rossignol X Fight 4, Salomon Tornado X-wing.
None of these look as fat or the same shape as the pocket rockets. Do they perform in a similar way? I seem to remember the pocket rockets had straight edges and bindings smack in the middle whereas these seem to be more of a carver shape?
I may well be talking rubbish but would appreciatte some advice!

tornado is the only ski in that list you would be happy on-the rossi x fight thing is an intermediate on piste carver i think, and the dynastar is something similar but maybe a bit more advanced-none of them are anything like the pocket rocket though, it was a cracking ski!

Welcome to J2Ski Badbrains...
What Rossy said - the Tornado is a superb ski but quite different to the PRs; probably more fun in anything less than a foot of fresh IMO, and definitely the one to pick from those 3.

All three are mainly piste skis I think.
Just had a look at the website, very odd range of ski available. They do the female version of the excellent Dynastar Legends but not the mens (which would suit you well).
I think I'd give them a call, the website might not be showing all the skis available.
The ski you really want is the superb Atomic Access.
