bedrock barney wrote:I haven't done any kind of video editing yet but hoping I can use iMovie to tidy up the vids. In the meantime I've uploaded a 5 minute bit of video to youtube. This is a run down the arcelle piste in Val d'Isere (with stops!) on Fri 13th Jan 2012. This is using the chest mount and at highest HD setting (1080). Results seem pretty good to me. Very pleased with the camera and looking forward to using it more in April when we are off skiing with the family.

Go easy on comments re. skiing style - I've only got 4 weeks under my belt and the wrong side of 40 these days!!

Fantastic conditions and empty pistes. Lucky man.
That 1080p looks great mate and i like the chest mounted view point. I twas toying with the idea of buying one for my next trip
If you run it through iMovie you can use the stablization to reduce the shake quite easily.

Hi Snapzzz, this thread has got me looking at them now and found the Helmet Hero on Amazon for £180 odd. I noticed this comes with all the straps needed for the Helmet, but what do you need to attach it to a pole. do you have to buy anything extra?

I really am starting to be anti go pro's as I really did want to have a mirror in my back pocket to show some of these plonkers what they actually look like with a camera perched on a Lid
