I saw quite a few disabled skiers in Courchevel as well. They always seemed to have a 'helper' with them, and when they got on the chairlift the lifties stopped the chair and helped them on.
It is nice to know that if I am ever so misfortunate as to lose a leg there is some hope that I will still be able to ski.
I think it's a great idea that they're adapting the ski lifts to take disabled skiers, and they label the lifts now as to whether they're disabled friendly or not, like stations on the London underground
