Thanks Mekka,
I looked at the Buff website as well, and clearly I don't have a Buff (they seem to turn into hats as well). What I have is a neck warming thingy something like the one in this picture, except that mine has a toggly thing to pull to tighten it:

The most pointless thing i have a was a over sloder ski carry. that takes abotu 10 mins to fit it and if you do it slightly wrong it just slides down and then it is completly useless. we bought 4 of them as well..
The great thing about neck warmers, is that when they get snotty, you just turn them up side down, or rotate the snotty part to the rear

I think the most useless thing we ever bought was reins for my daughter when she started skiing at four. We used them one short day, and by then she was skiing in control.

Trencher
because I'm so inclined .....

I think most people use a hanky for the snot, rather than their neck warmer
I find a good supply of paper tissues in my pocket is a most essential part of my ski equipment. I think it must be the cold that makes my nose run so badly when I'm ski-ing.

I hope you kept the reins, so that in your old age your daughter can tow you along

Dont forget i was in a rush

and then i got a shock

mfc,
I don't think you'd be able to ski very far, or fast, with your Buff in that position! Maybe you should have looked at the instructions first?
Classic MFC

Wouldn't call it that bad........ I think
I want to be a ski bum for the rest of my life
I wouldnt recomend skiing with it like that.
