footbed?

Your choices are perhaps, to either "blow" the shell yourself, or find a boot fitter willing to make the necessary mods. It may be that your foot needs to be lifted/or lowered in the boot to resolve the problem.

If bootfitting was an unneccesary luxury, we'd all buy our kit off e-bay

I have a couple of pairs of these. Not a fully moldable footbed, but the arch support does mold and continues to adjust a little with use. They are rigid enough to take wedges underneath to correct your stance if needed. I would say they are like superfeet, but with a moldable arch support.

I picked mine up on line for $20 a pair, so good for the price if you can get a deal.

Bandit, i will see how they feel once i get a footbed in them. By 'blowing' do you mean heating the area and moulding the plastic shell out a bit?

trenchy...$20 is a good price....unfortunately i cant find any that cheap in the uk.

are they correct for you? well that depends on the boot the foot and the fit between the two, without seeing your feet it is impossible to say


i would love to know where the ski instructor who posted earlier has his boots done, my money would be that he needs more than just a moulded footbed or at least more than a badly moulded footbed...again without seeing his feet impossible to say what will work best, but there are not too many people out there who will not benefit in some way from a well made footbed or an off the peg one. i offer a 100% money back guarantee on all the custom beds i make, i see on avaerage 1 pair back a month and i build over 700 pairs a year for all sports footwear, ski boots and day to day shoes

I bought a pair of the heat mouldable footbeds from yoursole as I always have grief with my feet in ski ( & skating) boots;
Really easy to 'mould' & very efficient customer service from 'yoursole'...they promise full 100% refund if you are not totally satisified.......even if you have 'trimmed' them up for your boots/shoes etc. Although didn't get to test their word on this as I was more than happy with mine.
Definately worth the money in my case as practically made my boots comfortable ( used to be agony).................seem pretty decent quality as well.
