Absolutely no plans whatsoever, and I am going to keep it like that until I have seen where the snow has fallen, and what late deals there are available.
Last season was a warning to me not to book in advance any more. Whenever I have been on a late booking it has been fabulous, as you're able to work out what conditions are like at time of booking and likely to be like when you're there. AND packages never sell out so there is ALWAYS a deal to be had.
Having said that, if the right deal comes up early for Dolomites then I may just bite the bullet and pray for another good Italian winter.
One thing is for sure - altitude is the key.
Bad Gastein in January should have been spot on, but it just isn't high enough should the weather be unexpectedly poor.
